Mourn

Johor state's Sultan passed away last Friday, the state government encourage everyone to wear a black strip on the left arm for non-Muslim and songkok with white strip or white head scarf for muslims as a kind of mourning feature for the death of Sultan. Although the newspaper has revealed that it is not compulsory to do this mourning thingy, yet our university forced us to do it. by saying that those who do not follow this instruction shall not come into the university compound. Isn't it ridiculous?? In my point of view, if they do not force us to wear, I'm sure no one will wear these. Indirectly, this will show that the Sultan wasnt important in our heart, and we dont take an effort to mourn for his death. As what the politics has alway been doing, show the positive side, so they have to make sure at least some one wears it. Isnt it pathetic??
Same goes to those campaign, they always like to organize this awareness campaign and that awareness campaign. I don know if you guys realised, representative who were sent to these campaign are all those who do not need it. eg, ANTI SMOKING CAMPAIGN, they sent those top students in class who do even touch a cigaratte to these campaigns telling them the harms of smoking, maling big articles in newspaper. How about those who had been smoking, which group of people need this more??
Let them think about it on their own..
